It is strictly forbidden to remove the oxide skin on the anvil surface directly by hand or foot, and when using compressed air to blow the oxide skin, the opposite side must not stand in. Before the hammer head stops, it is strictly forbidden to put any part of the body under the hammer head to pick up or place workpieces or tools. When replacing the tooling, moulds or when the hammer is stuck and the forging is stuck to the dolly, the power source should be cut off and the support added before work can be carried out. It is strictly forbidden to forge billets that are over-burned and below the final forging temperature, in order to avoid forging cracks and flying out and injuring people. No hot forgings or tools should be placed on the channel. Ring forgings should be placed in a designated place and should not be stacked too high. Before starting work, forging workers must wear the prescribed labour protection equipment and wear them according to the prescribed standards.

Before working, check whether the relevant electromechanical equipment, moulds, tools, auxiliary facilities and hydraulic pipes are safe and reliable, and lubricate the equipment with oil, otherwise they are not allowed to use them. The hammer head, hammer rod, moulds and tools should be preheated before work in the forging plant. It is strictly forbidden to throw material from a distance, close throwing material should be added to the protective baffle, ring forging blanks should not be thrown from the pavement, for large ring forgings must be clamped firmly and transported by crane. Manual forging is carried out with hand forging tools relying on human percussions on the anvil, with high labour intensity.
